2017 Money Goals

I put together a list of money goals for 2017.  Obviously this can change as life changes but I should be able to manage this.

2017 GOALS

1. 401K - Contribution from checks to get the 3% company match
2. ROTH IRA - Vanguard - Invest $200 every two weeks (Max out for 1st time ever)
3. Capital One 360 Savings - Automatic Deposit $100 weekly every Friday.
4. Car Loan -  Make small extra payment every month until paid off
5. Silver Coins - Buy 1 Roll of 2017 American Silver Eagles
6. I-Bond - Buy $100 every Month - At Least until May when update occurs
7. Robinhood/Lending Club - Small Contributions
8. Anything Left Goes in Capital One 360 savings
9. 2017 American Gold Eagle,  2015 American Gold Eagle - depends if large drop in gold price
10. Tax Return goes to Capital One 360 savings

Election Day 11/8/2016

Well it's election day.  Here in a few hours it will be Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump for President of the United States.   I won't say how I voted , but I know how Illinois will go just due to the sheer number of votes in Chicago.  With gridlock in congress I'm not sure who is the better candidate at this point  but don't think anything is going to get done anyway.  I would like to see some infrastructure spending - money spent here in the U.S. for once.

Dealt with more insurance issues today. What a pain!!  Oh - the DMV apparently closes on Election day even though every other business in town is open.  I just don't get it.  I hate that place.

It was kind of a busy / quiet day at work today.  IT Governance is on a tear about removing non-standard applications.   Today it was Mozilla Firefox.

Went to the local YMCA after work.  It was packed.  Since its raining I guess everyone decided to workout tonight at the same time.    Rode the bike for my usual time and was able to get some weights in. I think tomorrow I'll just run on the treadmill.
